Marble is chunky-crystalline limestone with admixtures, formed by metamorphosis of limestone and dolomite sedimentary rocks under high-temperature and high lithostatic pressure. In history it was used as building material and for sculptures, but it also had many other uses. Marble is available in high-gloss surfaces as well as in sanded and antiqued surfaces that allow its use in various styles of design. Thanks to different and uneven colors of marble and its characteristic veins a unique and unrepeatable pattern is achieved.
